Winning the War on Cancer
President Nixon signed the War on Cancer into Law in 1971. Some forty-five years and several billion dollars later, it looks like we have lost the battle. Or have we?
What if a natural solution had been there all along, just overlooked by the pharmaceutical industry?
When a new, natural, and non-toxic way to address cancer is being discovered, it is a game changer that does not go unnoticed in the scientific community. But instead of being hailed and embraced, it is fiercely opposed by prominent scientists with strong ties with the pharmaceutical industry and the might of the government is called to the rescue. As a result, we are losing the war on cancer.
Mirko Beljanski, PhD, one of the first green molecular biologists, was called upon by President Mitterrand of France to treat his prostate cancer, allowing him to reach his second term in office, but upon his death, Beljanski became the subject of relentless persecution aimed at wiping out this information. In Winning the War on Cancer , his daughter Sylvie Beljanski outlines her journey of learning about her father’s discoveries, and ensuring his legacy is available to all those struggling with the disease today.

Awaken the Magic Within
Awaken the Magic Within helps business leaders listen to that voice inside, showing them that it’s brilliant and it matters, in both work and personal situations. It is a simple read; yet, it has dramatic impact on a business’s bottom line, as well as an employee’s value to the company. A business must make money or it isn’t a business—it is a hobby. The old way of making a profit in business no longer serves the company, the shareholder, or the employee. In Awaken the Magic Within , motivational transformation specialist Joe Swinger addresses a transformative leadership style called Self-Mastery Leadership, the application of which produces rewarding results for business leaders in their multiple work situations with employees, within C-level suites, and in their families and love relationships. Whether someone longs to exchange the label “employee” for “entrepreneur,” be more authentic in their personal and professional relationships, or upgrade their entire life on a grand scale, it all begins with self-mastery. Joe Swinger allows business leaders and entrepreneurs alike to give themselves permission to live the gift they truly are, enter their own journey, and become more authentic as they Awaken the Magic Within.

The world had changed. Families had changed. Values had changed. The meaning of religion had changed.
After author Kim Kurtz graduated from high school twenty five years ago, the world was not what she expected. The moral landscape of college and life thereafter was hostile and foreign. She struggled when the faith of her childhood didn’t translate smoothly into adulthood. She was disillusioned when the formulas of faith and church that she had always known no longer worked. The messiness of life, the difficulty of marriage and relationships, and the many ups and downs she experienced were overwhelming. Her faith couldn’t handle it, and she walked away.
According to research, Kim wasn’t alone. 75% of young people raised in a Christian home leave the church after they leave the home. Numerous studies show that Christian families are losing their kids and have been for decades. A majority of churched youth aren’t developing a personal, powerful, and passionate faith in Jesus Christ. And a passive faith quickly fades to no faith at all.
We can no longer afford as Christian parents, as the church, or as a nation to ignore this problem. Pouring Inaddresses the profoundly difficult task of passing on a lasting faith to future generations. Effectively passing on the baton of faith allows our kids to experience the love, peace, and hope that can only come from a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Make no mistake, YOU have the power to greatly affect the trajectory of your child’s faith.
Life from the Ashes
Life from the Ashes shares the dark and raw story of Shari O’Loughlin’s loss of her 14-year-old son, Connor, who was shockingly killed in an airplane crash on his way home from a four-day vacation. Parents trying to navigate the perilous journey of traumatic loss know the path is agonizing. Happiness, faith, and wholeness seem reserved for everyone else but them.
Shari shares her story to help bring the same unexpected hope and healing she experienced to parents alike. She helps answer questions on how parents can trust again, feel happiness, and have faith after God let their child die. She addresses how to live with this new life, take steps toward healing, and live a more purposeful life after loss.
In honor of Connor and her family, Shari shares her path from darkness to light so other parents may better find their way. Although Shari’s story shares the journey after the loss of a child, it contains tools that can help anyone who has suffered a loss of any type move forward in life.

If I’m So Strong, Why Do I Feel So Weak teaches rescue workers and others who have chosen self-sacrificing work how to help themselves while still helping others. There are so many who choose a self-sacrificing field of work, such as those who work in Emergency Medical Services, who feel self-doubt when it comes to taking care of themselves. They spend so much time saving the rest of the world that it no longer feels good for them. Eleanor Miller lived that life. And after years of searching, she understands why the popular remedies just don’t cut it. She offers guidance to readers on how to say no without feeling guilty, how to find their own voice, strength, and confidence and so much more on their path to recognizing their own importance.
Confessions of a Recovering Racist
George O’Hare’s was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago in 1927 during the height of Jim Crow, when racism was a way of life for most white people. He went to an all-white grammar and high school, and was raised by an extremely racist uncle. George learned to be a racist at an early age, but when he joined Sears Roebuck as a salesman and his manager insisted that he become a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, he found himself in the company of African Americans for the first time in his life. He met some of the most iconic African Americans in the country, and became good friends with Dr. Martin Luther King, comedian Dick Gregory, Father George Clements, Muhammad Ali, State Senator Barack Obama, and many others. Racism became a very hot topic of discussion in America in 2017 with an outgoing Black president and an incumbent president who is known for his racist remarks, legislature, and appointees. Confessions of a Recovering Racist addresses the fallacy of racism in a unique, honest, and sometimes humorous way. It causes white people to take a second look at their prejudices, and informs Black people that a white man can be a hero in the Black community.
Make It Right
Leading a manufacturing business does not need to be so difficult!
Manufacturing can be frustrating because of endless people challenges, equipment failures, schedule interruptions, and the looming threat of major quality issues. Labor costs rise, employee and customer expectations increase, manufacturing budgets are cut – and you’re required to deliver more with less.

He shares simple but powerful practices for rapidly turning a manufacturing division around, distilling his 30 years of frontline experience with managing hundreds of the world’s best (and worst) manufacturing companies into a step-by-step alignment process that you can use to implement change that’s effective in days rather than years.
Kevin has led companies around the world based on the methods of management legends like Peter F. Drucker, and has implemented lean, high-performance work systems. In the era of Industry 4.0, Kevin has built on those foundations to formulate a highly effective process for aligning your manufacturing organization to deliver sustainable growth.
Thes message in Make It Right is clear: Leading a highly successful manufacturing company can be simple, enjoyable, and thoroughly rewarding – if you align the process from the frontline to the bottom line.

From Generation to Generation
Emily Wanderer Cohen
Most children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors felt the omnipresence of the Holocaust throughout their childhood and for many, the spectre of the Holocaust continues to loom large through the phenomenon of “intergenerational” or “transgenerational” trauma.
In From Generation to Generation: Healing Intergenerational Trauma Through Storytelling, Emily Wanderer Cohen connects the dots between her behaviors and choices and her mother’s Holocaust ex-periences. In a series of vivid, emotional—and sometimes gut-wrenching—stories, she illustrates how the Holocaust continues to have an impact on current and future generations. Plus, the prompts at the end of each chapter enable you to explore your own intergenerational trauma and begin your healing journey.
Part memoir and part self-discovery, if you’re a second-generation (2G) or third-generation (3G) Holo-caust survivor—or you’re experiencing intergenerational trauma of any kind—and you’re ready to heal from that trauma, you need to read this book.

Economics is Like Sex
Jonathan M. Lamb
Economics has become a taboo topic because is not well understood. As a taboo topic it doesn’t get discussed, and since it is not discussed, it is not understood—what a vicious cycle!
Shying away from open discussions about money, budgets, markets, and trade has resulted in many misconceptions. Economics is all around us, and with a little common sense understanding of economic principals, Jonathan M. Lamb changes the way people view the world. Economics is Like Sex advocates that economics isn’t a boring subject filled with charts and theories cooked up by some dead guys who lived centuries ago. Economics is about decisions. Decisions that relate to money, life, love, and happiness. Economics is not just for government and business, but is a way of everyday life, and some very simple economic thinking can make life just a little bit less complicated when it comes to money.
Money can’t buy love or happiness, but Jonathan Lamb opens the taboo topic to provide a common sense understanding of how basic, easy, common sense economic principals can change the way people view the world.
Corey A. Ciocchetti
Inspire Integrity is addicting. It focuses on what it means to live an authentic life. Its chapters encourage people of all ages and circumstances to understand that authentic success comes from the attainment of: (1) a sincere sense of contentment, (2) strong personal relationships, and (3) a solid character. This is much different from worldly success such as excessive wealth, fame and popularity - things which, in and of themselves, do not have the capacity to make a person happy. It is designed to help people look critically at their life, think through their decisions, set priorities and goals, develop a solid character, avoid serious mistakes and discover their true passion in life. It draws on the major ethical frameworks of Aristotle, Mill and Kant as well as the Golden Rule as tools to avoid Benjamin Franklin's warning that people tend to get old too soon and wise too late. It presents a roadmap to accomplish this mission and advocates that each reader start the journey to authentic success now!
Inspire Integrity focuses on the story of Cash, the racing greyhound, who is world famous and has won tens of millions of dollars winning races. The night before the race, Cash reveals he's not going to race the next day and that he is retiring completely. Shocked, the owner asks him whether he is hurt, mad at her, or too old? He responds that it's none of those things. In fact, he's been doing a lot of critical thinking about his life and has come to the conclusion that all he's ever done is run around dirt racetracks, and he just cannot do it anymore. He finally understands that those little white rabbits that everyone encourages him to chase day and night aren't even real.

Many business owners start a business in order to gain freedom, financial security, and flexibility. Unfortunately, many also end up feeling like they have to do everything themselves. Where Simon Sinek’s book Start With Why and Tony Hsieh’s book Delivering Happiness leave off, The Freedom Framework picks up. A must-read for those who are ready to take their business to the next level by unlocking human potential, it provides practical, real-world strategies for updating or creating the business of their dreams!

For working women who are still trying to ‘have it all’ but are left feeling not ‘good enough,’ Paula and Lisa explain how achieving success, creating balance and experiencing fulfillment begins and ends with Remember(ing) Who You Are.
Fifteen year-old Drew Hennings’ dream of playing quarterback for his local high school team and playing college football in the Ivy League ended when he got a serious concussion.
Drew can’t play football anymore, but he loves the game too much to walk away. With a close family friend and football official, Jack, as his mentor, Drew decides to transform himself into the first teenage football referee that Boston’s South Shore has ever seen.
Can he transfer his leadership skills to refereeing and make the right call even when it’s unpopular? Will he be good enough to earn a place on the crew of a youth football playoff game?

The Holistic Gut Prescription
The Holistic Gut Prescription is designed to be a simple guide to healing the gut, based on the following premise: if people give the body what it needs to heal itself and remove the obstacles to its cure, then within reason, healing will follow.
Nature Cure is not easy to employ, but it is usually easy to understand. There are only so many building blocks, and there are only so many possible obstacles to cure. The physician’s job is not to “make someone well,” but rather to facilitate the process of healing. In this guide, Dr. Lauren helps readers recognize which obstacles to a healthy gut they face, how to remove them, and how to supply the specific building blocks they lack so that they can create their own personal path to optimal digestive wellness.
The Corn Husk Experiment
The Corn Husk Experiment is a captivating, entertaining novel that walks readers through characters’ gritty reality before unexpectedly delivering light to their own situation. There are interesting stories all around with overwhelming connections that people unknowingly share. As the lives of a painfully shy boy, a troubled dancer, a lonely photographer, an extraordinarily gifted quarterback, and a self-declared misfit converge for only a few hours, they unknowingly become part of The Corn Husk Experiment, a phenomenon identified and revealed by a wise theologian in hopes of saving only one of them. The experiment is put to the test when the five strangers, all struggling to overcome what most defines them, find themselves in a stadium of more than 75,000 others who are silently and secretly sharing many of the same struggles and joys. When they stand divided, whose story will win? This edgy novel delivers a contrastingly light and healing message at a time when empathy and understanding are refreshing and relevant.

Who Will Care for the Orphan?
Feeding, providing potable water, clothing, housing, education,
and access to healthcare for orphans and vulnerable children will
provide the United Methodist Church its raison
d'Í_‘ötre for the 21st century
and beyond. It will serve to re-unite and re-ignite the Wesleyan
flame that flickers tentatively today. Who Will Care for the
Orphan: If you are a United Methodist, It Could Be You is more
than simply a title. It is an invitation to authentic Christian
discipleship. Caring for orphans and vulnerable children is
Biblically-based: the Bible commands its readers to care for
orphans (often coupled with caring for widows and resident aliens)
thirty-one times, as seen in this well-known but oft-ignored
passage: "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the
Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world" (James 1:27). Service
to orphans and vulnerable children is consistent with John Wesley's
two-pronged means of grace, consisting of the works of piety and
the works of mercy. Wesley himself wrote these words to George
Whitefield: "Can anything on earth be a greater charity, than to
bring up orphans?" Who Will Care for the Orphan offers
United Methodists an alternative to the bitter infighting that has
defined, divided, and created deep divisions within the
denomination for the past forty years. Suggesting that United
Methodist must agree to disagree on some political and theological
positions, this proposed path forward replaces internal debate with
service to the least, the last, and the lost. Dr. Lavender, drawing
from decades of pastoral leadership, personal stories, and
extensive research, presents the compelling needs of orphans and
vulnerable children around the planet, laying out the case that
caring for these little ones is a key to true peace with

Walk Beside Me
Willow Adair has a picture-perfect life—or so it seems. A stunning model-turned-wife-and-mother, she lives in a beautiful home with her husband and two kids in historic Bexley, one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Columbus, Ohio. On the outside, she has everything. On the inside, she struggles with issues of self-worth. Spurned by her neglectful husband and hated by her rebellious teen daughter, Willow never feels she is good enough. She fears everyone she loves will leave.
Piece by piece, the cornerstones of Willow’s life begin to crumble. A routine colon operation goes horribly wrong. A yoga injury leads to a series of surgeries and misdiagnoses, ultimately ending in permanent loss of motion in her right arm. And then Willow is diagnosed with breast cancer. Convinced that no one will stand by her for one more day of sickness and depression, she prepares to end her life.
That's where the Angels come in.
Willow’s friends lift her spirits when she is sad, and weep with her when she is hurting. They walk beside her quite literally, on sidewalks from Cleveland to Miami. And they walk beside her spiritually and emotionally, soothing her heartache and reminding her that every single minute of her life is abundantly worth living. Walk Beside Me is the story of a woman who peels away the layers to find her inner warrior, a woman who faces insurmountable odds and—thanks to her earthly Angels—learns to treasure the gift of God's infinite light and love.

The Power of Conviction
James C. Tillman
This is an inspirational story about the power of conviction:
the wrongful conviction that sent James Tillman to prison for over
18 years, and the power of his own conviction that helped him
persevere, offer a transformational forgiveness and earn a
redemption that is so valued he remarkably calls his experience in
prison, "a gift."
"The Power of Conviction" is for people who are facing tough
times. You will understand that you're not alone, that things can
be brutally bad and we can react poorly at times, but where there
is love, there is always hope.
How did James Tillman endure 18 years of hell in prison? What
specific lessons can you learn about the transformational power of
forgiveness, love and conviction? When faced with your own
challenges in life, what will you choose?
